It depends on the question. If the question is nasty then you should expect people to get angry and some will be nasty. Are you upset about the hatemail you have received regarding your question about ho-ho eating SAHMs? Sorry to say it but a question like that deserves the nasties though many were polite which proved themselves better than that.

Because some people are freaken idiots! But there are people out there that DO want to answer honestly, so don't fret. Those that don't, that's there problem, though they don't see it that way. Too bad Yahoo doesn't provide a way for people who post questions to remove unwanted answers. Oh well, best thing that we can do is just reply the way we do and not let them other people get the best of us to stoop to their level of stupidity. Good luck with your Questions and Answers!

It is all in the way you present your question. If you spell check it so people can read it and if you ask something that is not so far-out that people think you are kidding, you should get a bunch of useful answers.
Of course there is always a certain percentage of jokesters and people who just like to babble to see their words on the screen - but ignore those and look at the rest.

I believe it begins in Public school. Trying to establish a pecking order, in school if you're to smart you are ridiculed, if you act dumb they make fun of you. Anyway to raise their own pecking order, so that they will be considered more valuable than you.
The benefits to being valuable, (have a higher pecking order) is the first to be given food, or more food than another.
The first to be given shelter.
The first in line.
The first looked to for answers
When they talk to you nasty they disrespecting you giving you a lower pecking order than they, you are beneath them. So you will think twice before challenging their pecking order.

SInce I am not them I really cant say why they do or whats on thier mind but more than likely it has to do with being very young or because they really dont know what to answer and think they are being cute or funny.
