i think so...cuz in the first case : the italian team won the WC cuz they did a much better work than the french one, the second cuz this hate is stupid...the WC is over and with that comments we cant change anything ,and the last cuz Italy and France r neighbours,they must be friendly damnit!

both French and Italian fans should finish the fight,,the WC is long over and no matter what we said here,the result will still be the same:Italy is the winning team and France comes in the second place,that's not really bad at all..somehow,like what you said,you do hate the French and as for me i only hate one Italian man,Marco Materazzi..for the rest of the Italian,i don't mind at all..and yes,France and Italy are neighbours,so don't start a 'war' just because of football though i understand it is the passion for football.

No babe, the Italians won because they won the PK shootout. If they had done a better job, we wouldn't have needed a PK shootout. Furthermore, even though Italy was slightly better during the first half, France DOMINATED the second half and all of overtime (even though they were without their KEY player).
And how can you expect peace between the French fans and the Italian friends when you start talking about how Italy was superior? Do you honestly expect a French (or a neutral person for that matter) person to agree with you?
And Juventina, you must be KIDDING me. Just because you don't insult French fans doesn't mean that other Italians don't. That is a really narrow-minded statement to make. There's nothing but hate coming from both sides. However, we're not biased, so we're able to acknowledge the fact that the hate and insults is coming from both sides.

Yes it should. but believe me its not going to end that easily. Well, thats bcoz us french fans feel that Materazzi(and not Italy) has cheated and we think that we were the better team and we deserved to win.Italy didnt do any better than France and i have to admit that both teams played dismaly in the group stages(if we take that into consideration i think that Spain or Germany deseved to win)And i know comments cant change anythinng but ppl consider it as a way to express their sorrow, Hapiness, jealousy etc. And i dont think the hatred between the French and the ITALIAN supporters in the YAHOO ANSWERS FOOTBALL SECTION is not going to affect the relationship between France amd Italy as countries.LOL

Me! It's getting old. I think people need to stop with the insults but everytime someone mentions the Italian teams it's always met with something along the lines of, "Those dirty, cheating bastards!" Once that stops thing'll be fine.

I think a little bit of hate is needed in sports. It's not enough to just love your team; you need to hate the opposing team out of loyalty. But I'm not going to post a bunch of insults here. Let's bring a little dignity back to our beautiful game!
