I know computers inside and out, I've been a professional technician (electronics, communication) for the past seven years, I've had A+ training (haven't taken the test yet though), I'm used to dealing with customers in their homes, and I have good people skills. What more would I need to do to get hired?
Also, I'd appreciate it if you'd tell me a typical geek squad salary if you know it, since I can't find that info anywhere.

My recommendation would be to start you're own business. The over heads are minimal. And as you get started you could 'hide' alot of the money from the tax man.

If things go well, become more professional.

Charge by the hour, but undercut the big boys. Get s few clients and word of mouth will spread.
