Well, I think.. "the most rewarding part" is : You can be very proud of yourself, because you did it all alone!
Second, and most important : you will remember it, for the rest of your "life" ... You will "never" had to use manuals...

Good question. I barely squeaked through high school chemistry, but when I started to bake; cakes, cookies etc, I Iearned (observed) the chemical changes in the ingredients affected by heat. Very satisfying and tasty. The grade was in the finished product, I gave myself an A.
