Yes. Used to go to the Midnight showing every Friday night back in 1980.

For some reason, "Rocky..." has never really appealed to me. I love crappy old science fiction and horror movies to which this movie pays homage.

But the "gay angle", while by no means offensive to me, just made it a bit too camp (in a Seventies way) for my tastes.

Never found the audience particiapation angle particularly compelling either.

Sorry.

LOVE IT!!! I saw it in the late 80's at one of the midnight showings and was convinced. For the next 5 years still found rice in the pockets my favorite jacket (not as gross as it sounds). The music is so memorable and groovy. Easily one of my favorite 20 movies (doesnt sound impressive but i am a huge movie buff).

The film is a lot of fun, but it's almost IMPOSSIBLE to see it in a theatre anymore without having a bunch of lame dress-up people ruin the experience by "acting" along. Man, that's an idea whose time has come...and GONE.

I like about the first 2/3 of the movie. At the end, it starts to fall apart. It's like they just love momentum, and go from hilarity to silly.

As a 70 year old, yes. But only saw it once and that will keep me.

As a movie itself, no. As a social experience, very much so.
