i dont just mean adults, boys get a raw deal as well compared to girls

if a man does defend himself he is in the wrong, even if if he was in a life threatening situation eg i pinned her down to stop her from stabbing me with a carving knive and he get's in trouble for pinning her down....

Unfortunately to many women get sh*tty with men and then pull the "im just a women and he's pushing me around" when the cops show up and the men are the first to be hauled off.
Why is it handled that way..I don't know how it is where you live but I've seen women taken first for starting it. If the man has signs that he's been injured..from being attacked they will take the woman away. But there also has to be strong evidence to back it up. Best bet would be to have some eye witnesses to the woman's behaivor.

I think because we were a male dominated society for so long.. men where always looked upon as the more dominant sex and therefore gained a reputation as being invincible if you will and I think despite many changes that is still a very prevalent view even today. I am married to an EMT and I have noticed in the fire/rescue/police fields that many (not all) are very egotistical and tend to have I'm the biggest and baddest attitude and often look down at and ridicule men who are by nature more sensitive and less dominant. Sad but true... hopefully we will evolve as a society and come to realize that violence isn't a behavior that is perpetrated by just one sex or segment of society... anyone given the proper set of circumstances could step over that line..

Because when they pull up to a scene and a 6 foot man points at a 5 foot woman saying she beat me up, its almost a joke.
Come on men are suppost to be strong.
My bf said that his ex wife got violent with him a couple of times, he said he opened the front door and said you hit me again and your out of here or if you want we can take it outside and both go to jail.
He said she stopped after that.

Well, u hardly hear of males getting abused. But it do happen. And plus, there are some males that think that they are superior to us females.
