If you could choose between buying the official world cup soccer ball, a t-shirt or a cap; which would you chose and why? I am doing a research assignment for Uni on sporting merchandise. If you can think of different merchandise you would prefer please discuss. Any information is appreciated. Cheers.

I would buy a jersey over those things. However I have a cap for every occasion, so I'd get that too.

Well, I've already bought a FIFA jersey. In case you're wondering which team, it's Italia, Totti, number 10. I chose the jersey because I'm more of a soccer watcher than player, so I don't have that much need for the ball, and I like shirts better than caps. Shirts are more conspicuous, so I wanted the champs' jersey.

Of the three, a shirt would be my first choice. Every one would have a cap, and you could say everyone has a shirt. But a shirt shows which player you like most as well as the country. A ball is also unique and it would also be a good buy. But the shirt shows your passion for the team you support.

I would definitely buy the Official "football" and also buy the "football" jersey. I would wear the jersey more often than not, however the I would only like to use the ball as a showpiece and not use it until I really have to.
A good thing that is usually done on college sports in the United States, is the car flags that you can attach to your car windows. They show great support and also look great.

I would say tshirt just because I can wear it and let people know that I support FIFA. I guess a ball would only be cool if you played in a game. A hat would be my second choice because you can get many years of use out of it.

I bought a couple of shirts of the Countries I thought could win it and then I could wear one on the day of the Final but I got it all wrong. So to England and Argentina - you let me down badly.

i would get a cap because it is something you can display, and wear. a ball, you cant use it as much as the other 2. a shirt, it might shrink or it might not fit anymore (haha), but a cap you will have forever.

the official soccer ball because the design is very cool and unique..i would also buy jerseys of my favourite players with their signatures on them (the jerseys)..priceless..

i would like to buy a an official football because it sometimes bears the autograph of a great football player.buy buying it you can actually show everybody the autograph.
