No! People who are not at home and drive, mostly listen to the radio for their favourite artists, etc. Also, most of the popular charts are on the radio. Most mobile phones have radios installed in them and podcasts of radio shows are getting popular. On that note, I don't think Video killed the radio star.

Yes it did. More people watch music videos now that listen to music on the radio. That was really neat that was the very first video that ever came on MTV. That would change music and MTV for a generation.

In a way. I think video put more emphasis on how a singer or band looked, rather than the quality of their music.
Now we have people like the Simpson sisters, who actually make money as "singers". Blows my mind.
