i have limewire for almost 3 years now and no viruses yet... very very dependable... go for limewire

Both are bad but Bearshare brings spyware and adware and viruses with it (I had to reboot lots of problems :( ) and Limewire is adware-free. It's safe to use Limewire as long as you use a good anti-virus and protection software when your PC is running.

Limewire. If you try to chat on bearshare and accidently let one obsenity slip, they boot you from the network. :( Tho theyre the same company, I think bearshare is kind of directed to the youth

Both aren't so great because still you are stealing. But I'd go with Limewire since I've used it before. haha

I like shareaza.com better than either one because bearshare and limewire have adware and spyware. I've used them all and I haven't had any trouble with shareaza.

Well i think lime wire is better but my friend uses bear share and likes that also .. but i would go with bear share because lime wire is getting in trouble by all the artists for the free music.
