Why would you want it to immediately stop ? Thats not healthy !
If you go on birthcontrol pills, it gets you extremely regular and usually your periods are shorter. Its not healthy to start your period and then have it stop, it happens for a biological reason! If your body is preparing for pregnancy, and your uterine lining has to shed and thats why we get our periods, in short! Its not a button you can flick on and off , for convienence! If it were that easy, I am sure Marketers would have figured that out already.
Theres a new Pill out where you only get your period 4 times a year, instead of the regular monthly period , you take the bc pills for 3 consecutive months, and then you get your period only 4 times a year! but of course you have to console with your physician!
