Is it possible to get players removed from the can't cut list if they're not that great and injured? It's my first time doing this and we had an autodraft and I didn't really know what I was doing and now I'm stuck with some players I'm being told I should replace. Can my commissioner make edits to the list?

Yahoo bases it on their projections. Though they will change it over time (if a player goes on IR for example, or like Gannon a few years ago who just sucked after an MVP year).

The commish could have turned off the no-cut list altogether, but he can't edit it.

It does serve a purpose, because people have ruined public leagues by just dumping all their players and quitting - allowing anyone whose there at the right time the shot to pick them up.

My question for you is, who are you trying to dump that's not allowed? The list isn't that big, and pretty exclusive. I assume you 're talking about Portis - which would be stupid to cut him at this point - he may still be fine.

Try to work some trades if you're unhappy with the team. FA isn't going to help you replace guys you took in the first 2-3 rounds.
