Here are three of several:
1. Big bang...we all know about this one.
2. White hole...the universe we live in is the result of a white hole spewing a finite amount of matter forth into a black hole large enough to engulf our observable universe. The guess is that a white hole stems from the demise of a smaller black hole inside the bigger one. This is a variant of big bang because the white hole is the BB.
3. Impact between two parallel spatial universes, which causes (provides the energy for) the big bang we were able to postulate and validate through observations. This is also a variant of the BB because the BB occurs at the point of impact.
Creationism, intelligent design, and such are not theories as they are based on faith rather than science.
