Nope, it is more sanitary.
I will be cremated and then have my ashes scattered at sea. After all, I did retire from the U.S. Navy and maybe the fish and other sea creatures will have a welcoming party for me.

I think burial is selfish. Maybe that land would have become a super walmart if it hadn't been a cemetary but digging a hole, sticking a hardened corpse in it so people can put flowers beside it for years seems selfish.
Cremation speed up the decaying process and makes whats leftover easier for plants to digest.

Some people do cremation cuz its alot cheaper. God doesnt care. He takes the souls back at the moment of death anyway.
