I don't think they will change it and I will cry if Kenseth wins the championship. He doesn't deserve it.

I think they are planning on changing them after this season anyway, but if Matt wins the Championship, absolutely they'll change it. Regardless of what anyone says, his Championship run in 2003 had a lot to do with why we have this chase going on now. It could also be why they repaved Vegas... and why they took Rockingham off the schedule... oh the conspiracies. He's just a great driver, he'll adapt to whatever NASCAR does to the system, and he and his team will do it better than a lot of the other teams out there.

Regardless of that Kenseth does, I think that part of NASCAR's ideas for change are going to include more points for winning races. This may happen during the Chase only and not the rest of the season. Frankly, I think they should award more points for winning even in the first 26 races. After all, aren't you supposed to try to WIN and WINNING should be REWARDED.

This whole Chase thing is the stupidest thing Nascar has done in a long time. They need to get over thier selves and make it more like it used to be. Just because more people are watching these days they seem to think that redoing something that worked just fine is justifiable. IT'S NOT!

That is weird, I know. But you have to remember they get points for everything they do. Kenseth might be finishing in the top tenn on all races to be up there. When Tony Stewart won, it was becasue he always either tried to finish 5th through 10th place or win the race.

No, not if the Chase keeps the top few spots closer together. JJ is one of the least deserving people to win the Championship because he fades at the end, and the Chase is exploiting that.

No, if you are good all year you get into the chase. The chase itself is like another season (not unlike playoffs in NFL). Whoever is running best at the end (when it matters) wins. I like it! You can kick *** all year, but if you can't keep it together at the very end you are out (Jimmie has this problem) and you should not be the champion. The end is what matters. May the best driver win (not Jimmie)!!!

NASCAR will keep tweeking the points until the "golden boys ( Gordon and Earnhart)" win the title and championship.NASCAR Pampers these 2 because they bring in the dollars from the fans.

no because they only changed it because he was like way ahead and he had basically won it way before it was even over...right now, there are still many drivers who could win and so it's not like kenseth would win by a long shot, it would be close.
