Ignore that first answer - I have been to Agious Gordios in Corfu and it was fabulous - one of the best holidays that I have ever had. Corfu Town is also very nice - it is quite big with lots of little side streets - hope you have a fantastic holiday.

I haven't been to Corfu for 25 years because it was no longer the idyllic place I once knew. Benitses is on the east coast to the south of Corfu town. The west side has (or had) the most picturesque coast line with olive groves on the slopes down to the sea; Pelaka, Paleokastritsa, Ermones, Glyfada and Batos. The north is nice enough with some interesting beaches at Sidari. If you can learn a few words of Greek then it would be worthwhile exploring the interior.

Corfu is nice, however, you'll need to rent a car at least a few times to experience it fully. About that complex - I don't know. Enjoy your holiday!
