Don't bother checking until you are 2 weeks late. That is the time the majority of them have on the box. If you take it sooner it will give you a false reading. Pregnancy tests monitor a certain type of hormone that women produce when they are pregnant and you won't have enough to produce an accurate readig until then. However, stress will keep you from having your period. Don't stress, either your period will come or can stop trying to get pregnant and celebrate.

I would purchase an pregnacy test at the drugstore to find out for sure. If you are normally regular and now you are late, the chances are good. If you take the test and find that you are not pregnant, chances are that wishful thinking could have made you have symptoms, yes even a delayed period. Test yourself and then see a doctor either way.

Well recently not sure if you heard of it its called a "Pregnancy test" its pretty cool.
You get your *** up go to the store, buy one, pee on the stick and read the results.
I hate people who are irresponsible with their sexual activity and then instead of taking action after a missed period and finding out the results for sure they sit around and wait and get themselves all in a nrevous wreck and by the time they do finally take a test it could be too late to take action!
DOnt have sex if you cant be responsible enough to know if you slipped up and what your options are to find out. Use a CONDOM OR BIRTH CONTROL!!!!

If you are normally regular with your periods and are late now---it could be that you are anxious or even pregnant. Go and buy a pregnancy test and it will let you know they are really accurate nowadays and if it is positive then call your OB/GYN right away and make an appointment.

There is a possibility, but still go to the pharmacy and buy several pregnancy tests from different brands.
The answers may be different because your body (if you're not pregnant) is preparing for your period so it may provoke a positive answer. Still, it's worthed trying!

You should wait until you're atleast a week past due for your period. It could just be slightly irregular this time.

could be a combination of both. Why not wait a few more days. If you don't get your period by then, take a pregnancy test.

I'm sorry to say but, time will tell. If you don't have a positive pregnacy test two weeks after missing your period see your doctor/gyn.

first off, you didn't mention that you had sex. did you have sex? if you had sex, did you use protection? your period could be irregular also. the only way your going to get pregnant is to have sex. if you are sexually active and not on birth control, i strongly suggest that you get on some form of birth control.
