THERE IS NO SCIENTIFIC EVIDENCE OF EVOLUTION!!!! NONE AND IF ANYONE SAYS THERE IS THEY ARE LYING. I did a doctoral thesis on this fact. every single supposed "proof" of evolution has been found to be wither faked, lied, or a mistake. Evolution is a theory, and a crappy one at that. CHRISTIANS have a problem with a very few scientists. The main issue is that some scientists have a problem believing that there is a god that created things. They have to try to find some evidence of how it happened. Has anyone noticed how the big bang theory has fallen out of the media and is even being removed from science textbooks. It is because it was such an assinine concept that someone finally stopped and said "Wait, that is the dumbest thing I have ever seen." People realized that it was impossible. THere is a scientist by the name of Dr. Hovind, who has a standing offer that anyone that can come and present him with evidence that evolution is true, he will write them a check for $250,000. After 15 years of that being out there, being published in science journals and has even been on tv several times. You know after 15 years nobody has even tried to give him proof. NOt one scientist has taken him something to try and get the money. NOw if evolution were true, don't you think someone would have at least tried? If there was evidence why not go get the money. The reason is that it is a theory. A bad one at that, and there is no evidence of it. Scientists want to say that christians are feeble because we have faith that there was a greater being that created everything, and that is good enough for us. We have faith and that is all we need. Yet there is tons of proof to back up Christianity, and NONE to back up evolution. They say we are weak for having faith in something we can't see. They have faith in something that there is nothing to back it up but the rantings of a half crazed man who was on an island in the pacific and decided that one animal kinda looked like another (Darwin based evolution off of sea turtles, yet everyone says we came from apes. THere were no apes on the island Darwin was on, and yet that is what he decided we came from). My point is that people love to hate christians because we are "intolerant" when in fact we just have a set of moral absolutes that we are not willing to deviate from. Scientists do the same thing with evolution, but they are brilliant and free thinkers and all of that crap. Next time you want to bash us realize that most of the things you say about us, apply to democrats too. We may be intolerant of homosexuals, but you hate us for not liking them. Your guilty of the same "crime" as us and yet your ok and were wrong? That is like saying that owning african americans as slaves was wrong, but having chinese slaves is totally cool. Next time, bring some facts and not the angry ravings of a democrat guilty of the same accusations he is throwing at someone else.

Why do Liberals always stereotype Republicans? The notion that we all hate science is absurd. Many of us ARE scientists.

I don't think you can even make the case that most Republicans distrust science. Some Republicans question some theories, but so do some Democrats.

It has been my experience that Republicans rely on logic more than Democrats. It's the Democrats that are more likely to base their decisions on emotions.

Personally, I have a very low tolerance for Junk Science and the people who push that garbage. On big issues like global warming it is essential that methods and results be subjected to close scrutiny.

EDIT: Hats off to John J below. He is clearly a scholar and a gentleman.

Disagreement does not equal hate. And to say that a group as a whole "hates" another group as a whole is intellectually dishonest. Perhaps some conservative Christians don't like what some scientists are trying to promote, but not all Republicans are conservative Christians and not all scientists are promoting junk science.

If you are going to ask baited questions to receive a predetermined response that supports your own beliefs, then you might as well just post it as a statement.

They like to pick and choose what science they believe in. If the science and technology research puts new plasma TV's in their house its good science. If the science shows that we got here by evolution it is bad science, but it all comes from the same logic and that is Human Logic. People are hypocrites and by nature will go with what suites their beliefs before what is true.

I thought Democrats were the 'feel good party'. Put down the pipe and turn off the computer.

Republicans are for getting government out of your lives and wallets. Democrats are bigger government and higher taxes to pay for it. Too bad more Democrats don't deal with facts and logic. Al Gore invented the internet, global warming and trees.

Are you sure?

Republicans do support science. There has been a great development. However, they do not support immoral researches. They just act in your own interest. They don't want your money to go to sinful experiments.

LOL!!! Funny b/c its really Dems that have the problem with facts and logic. It is funny you mentioned this b/c of this. kerry said if he was in office, with his "supposed good charm" he could turn Osama from a world terror leader to a good guy. Now that is denying facts right in front of you!! LOL!! Or even better, if Dems were in office, they said they would pull out of this war and pretend in never happened and would "hope" the problem would go away. Even funnier! LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So plz, get your facts straight before you post on here and make yourself look really dumb.

What scientists ?
Looks like you're picking the scientists .
For people we supposedly hate , they sure do get paid well .
And of course all the funding into research .

Please hate me like that , I could use the money !

I am a republican, and a conservative, and I am a scientist.

It will be nice when school starts and people like you won't have as much time to post stupid questions.
