adam had a lads holiday in greece and met a lass there and had a holiday romance, he told her he worked in a bank in sheffield but didnt say which one but she still tracked him down.
she has got a job in sheffield and moved there from plymouth.
adam is getting annoyed as she waits out side his work on her days off to say hello to him even tho he has told her he isnt interested.
apart from involving the police how can he get her to back off?

I am curious as to who Adam is - in relationship to you?
Anyway, she sounds incredibly determined - and probably very mad with it.
Has he tried TELLING her again? If he has and she is not accepting this, or tries any other hints like holding hands with a male friend or a female friend, he is really going to have to go to the police with his concerns about her.
This is NOT normal behaviour - and who knows how she will react if she does not get her own way.
He should start keeping a note of times and dates etc. so that he has as full a record as possible to give to the police - perhaps along with a photo too.
I wish him luck and sincerely suggest that he deal with this sooner rather than later.

If hes told her and shes aware, theres nothing more he can say because its obvious its not getting through to her, the only thing to do would be to involve the police and get an order whereby she has to remain away. Without involving the law, it could be dangerous because it will result in violence, because to me it sounds as if this chick will do whatever it takes, I mean she moved places, shes not getting the message talking to her is obviously no good and violence isnt the way so im afraid the only way is to get the law involved, maybe shell get the pic

He could have a friend come and pretend to be a lover. The person would get upset and tell her that she better leave there man alone. Then there is the "I am not into woman and you were just to see" thing. Then there is the saying that he is going to the police if she doesn't back off. You just might have to go to the police.

Only if he is brave enough. Does he have any good guy friends willing to do this? Get one of his totally insane guy friends to walk out one day with him toward her but HOLDING HANDs. I'll bet she backs off then. Of course, if I were him, I'd tell the people at work beforehand what the joke is about (his co-workers probably know she's doing this to him). I'm sorry --- I know some crazy people who WOULD do something like this. Plus, everyone will get a laugh out of it. Well......except her.

He has to be polite but firm with her ... he should tell her in easy to understand language involving words of less than two syllables that he's not interested and that it was just a holiday fling. Of course he could always just tell her to f*** off and get a life ... but she might find out where he lives and sharpen her carving knives ...

Maybe if he could get a really good female friend who cares about his well being to pretend to be dating him. If they are both there waiting on him when he gets off and he chooses his friend over her she may get the picture.
Tell him to be more careful next time he plays with a girls heart!

I would inform the police as if you keep rejecting her she could turn on you and tell the police you raped her or something. Better to be safe and see the police yourself.

be frank to her that adam isn't interested on her..try to avoid meeting her or what so ever..or try to move from there if it's getting worst! she's a psycho maybe?
