im thinking on a big screen tv which would be better a dlp technology or would the lcd be better i cant decide which one would be the best. im thinking on a 55 to 65 inch tv

LCDs are hard to find and expensive at sizes bigger than 50 inches, so you're probably better off looking at DLP in the size you want. I recommend buying a unit with a built-in digital tuner, so that you can watch off-the-air HDTV. It looks beautiful!

get the higher resolution one also look at the contrast ratio.. 10,000:1 is very good
