Yeah and they didn't even know themselves that well, so no way they knew me better than I did.
Now, if someone says: I know you better than you think I do, that's a little different. The first thing is just pure arrogance depending on who said it to you. And a way to make you feel a little unsure.
Unless they're riiiiight. :-)

my best friend and my mother.
i will look them right in the eyes and tell them i am not going to do something. and i believe that i am not going to do that. but they know somehow that i will. and then i do. it drives me nuts. they always tell me, "i know you better than you know yourself." How do they do that? How do they know exactly what i'm thinking and what my next move is? it aint right!
