Scooby Doo where are you? not the new ones only the old ones. I also like the flinstones, the acme hour, tomcat, tom & jerrry, the justice leauge, felix the cat, yogi bear, garfeild, and sailor moon, and all the other older cartoons. If it was made in the 90's or 2000's i dont like it that much. I hate the way their making all the cartoons computerized. It looks really bad. By the way im only 14. Most kids my age only like stuff from when they were born so they dont like these cartoons.

It was, and will always be the original SESAME STREET, pre-Elmo & the like era.
This was Sesame Street back when Mr. Hooper was alive, and all that politically correctness brought by Elmo & Co. was nowhere in sight.
The Count (based on Bela Lugosi's eternal rendering) was always funny as hell to me, because I found it funny he would get so much pleasure just by counting all sorts of stuff. The rare moments inside his mansion/castle were magical!
Cookie Monster; perhaps the character which resembles my real life personnae, he was a bit scary because he was always on the edge. Looking back, he sort of reminds me of a junky looking for his next fix. I absolutly loved his woobly eyes!
Ernie and Bert; back then the whole homosexuality concept was totally unknown to me but looking back now, one must admit that the nature of their relationship was never explained. Well obviously they were good buddies and living together, but if you were to try to read too much into it, the concept of (possibly closet) gay lovers doesn't seem too far fetched! In those olden days, Ernie was my brother's favorite while I was partial to Bert.
Oscar the crouch: My wife loved him, especially his little niece (whom I forget the name!). I also loved the grouch, not because I myself am a grouch, but because he seemed to be a very "realistic" character; his lines and his delivery always seemed absolutly natural, and many things he said back then would actually make sense to me as a little boy.
Sesame Street also helped me learn english, and for those first formative years of my pre-school life, also made me aware of various ideals, morals, and other life concepts...
Now, if only the original series would be released on DVD....
