Once, and only a small pinch. They will eat as much as you feed them and will eat themselves to death. Plus, the more you feed them the dirtier the bowl they're in.

i used to have goldfish, and i feed it twice a day. put a small amount of feed each time. too much food will make the water dirty too.

I always feed mine in the morning only once a day. I had my fish 6 yrs.

Once at night & just enough to be eaten in 5 minutes...
too much food will cloudy the water.
