Do you think America is the only nation on the planet where people participate in prostitution? I'm pretty certain that it's rampant across the world. Does America "deserve" to lose all it's power? I don't understand what power you ar suggesting we lose, however, I don't care to suffer consequences for the occurence of prostitution in my country, as I personally do not participate in the practice. Do you think that all Americans agree with and support, and take part in prostitution? You think that a small percentage of people in a small portion of the country reflects the beliefs of every American?
To the best of my understanding, Bush does not support prostitution.
He has not taken part in any legislation regarding the legality of prostitition in Las Vegas, so we cannot hold him accountable for misconduct in this matter.
I understand why you take offense at the practice of prostitution. Do you live in Las Vegas?
I have a feeling that prostitution will continue all over the world, whether it is legal or not. The same as underage drinking, and the use of drugs, etc. Another law to police morals is not going to put the issue to rest, but you can certainly try to get the laws changed in Las Vegas if you desire.

He does not have the power to outlaw prostitution in Las Vegas. The state is granted absolute sovereignty
by the constitution if the power is not given
to the fed.
Since prostitution does not affect interstate commerce, the fed has no control over what laws the states pass.
Thats the beauty of the American way. The government
is much larger than our forefathers ever intended and much to intrusive into our daily lives. All the things
the fed is now doing was meant to be handled
by the idividual states.

Bush will support anything that will get him a vote. First of all Bush alone can not make a law outlawing prostitution. The laws of the different states are made by the states and sometimes all the way down to the communities themselves. The other day he went to Minneapolis and the tax payers paid out over $250,000, so he could campaign for a republican there, that brought in over $500,000.

Get off it. You'll complain because "Big Brother" in the federal government "wants to control" everything in your petty little life, then you complain when they don't? What do you want? You can't have the cake and eat it too. They either let state control things at the local level, or they take it all away and do away with states. After all, there's no need for states if the federal government controls everything in your life. Besides, if you checked into it correctly, you'd know prostitution ISN'T LEGAL IN LAS VEGAS!!!!!! It's legal in the county by Las Vegas, but not in the city. So go to Nevada and complain to the county and state. And you may want to do a bit more research to see exactly where the trade IS legal so you know who to complain to and won't look like a fool.

No, Bush should be impeached for lying to America and taking us to war under false pretenses.
Each state is allowed to make it's own laws according to our constitution. Most, if not all states do prohibit prostitution, and I thought it is was illegal in Vegas but I could be wrong. I guess what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas.

Prostitution is not legal in Las Veges or Clark county.and its legalized in only a few selected counties of Nevada not the entire state .And don't call people names because they disagree with your question or its content..That to me shows a lack of maturity and intelligence on your part, and you have to resort to childish name calling.I wonder how quick you would be to call the people on here names in person.
Cowards normally hide behind name calling to hide their own inability to function as a viable adult.
Bush does indeed need to be impeached, but for the lies and ineffectual leadership shown during his terms, and not as the country's morality police.Nevada is a state and has the right to make state laws as long as its not a threat to the nation. And a few ladies of the evening does not constitute a national threat to this country's security.
The name calling is getting a tad old now so I suggest you find a better vocabulary before you are in violation of terms of service.

Las Vegas is in Clark county. There are several counties in Nevada which have outlawed prostitution within the county. Clark county is one of them.
Bush can't micro-manage the states, that's what congress and state governments are for.

As people have already said - prostitution isn't under his authority. To give him the authority you need an amendment to the constitution.
Besides, can't you find better (or shall I say worse) reasons to impeach Bush?

Check your information. Prostitution is illegal in Las Vega NV.
And if you don't like prostitution don't avail yourself of their services ,although it sounds like maybe you should..

Yahoo answers is not a public forum for all of your political issues. That's what the Yahoo discussion forums are for. Better still, start your own blog. Or even better, just stop.
