Assuming you are over 40, I'd say that was good advice.

DHEA is a hormone precursor to Human Growth Hormone (HGH) and the sex hormones, which is to say it provides the building blocks for these very important anti-aging hormones.

Besides being a powerful antioxidant, Melatonin is also a hormone that tends to decline as we age. Supplementing it improves sleep and consequently enhances your body's ability to repair itself. Also, HGH production is at its peak when you sleep. So, the better quality sleep you have, the more efficiently the body produces HGH.

Another supplement you might want to consider are are stack amino acids. Biocentrics puts out a very good one called Rejuvamin (for people 40-55) and Rejuvamax (for people 55+). Stacked aminos also help the body maximize it's HGH levels.

Your doctor is right! Go out and get the book "Prescription for Nutritional Healing", second edition, by James F. Balch, M.D. and Phyllis A. Balch, C.N.C. This book is great and you can look up just about anything and is written to be very easily understood.

To combat antiaging? So taking that is going to make you look older, by what you said. Who would want to do that? By the way, your body naturally produces both chemicals. You don't need to take supplements for it.
