do you have to be flexible to be a stripper? do you have to have big boobs? how do you get into top condition for the stage? I want to try to become a stripper, it is something i have always wanted to do, and me and my hubby are in need of money and we both agreed i could take this up on the side so we can get caught up on bills. I am 5'4' 1/2 and 146 lbs...not much on top...gotta bit of hip and thighs from my pregnancy and a small pregnant looking tummy.... what should i do to drop at least 20lbs. and get seriously toned in 2 months????????

I've seen strippers in all body types and you don't need big boobs... at least, that's not a requirement for me. There is no question that the prettiest women have an advantage as strippers, and that includes having a great figure. Other than that, flexibility is not critical -- attitude is. You have to make guys think that you're ready to jump their bones. If you can't do this, you probably won't earn top dollar as a stripper.

One other thing to consider is that the big money is not from taking your clothes off on stage. The big money is from lap dancing, where you rub your body all over some guy. Lots of places have different rules and regulations on this but my experience is that the more contact there is, the better the tips. You can expect to rub your boobs in guys faces, rub your butt on their laps, nibble their ears, etc. Guys will always look for a little chance to grope and grab. You (and your husband) should understand this before you go shopping for g-strings. Take a couple of nights to go to a strip club to watch the dancers and ask a few questions.

As for getting in shape, cut out the meat and candy, and eat lots of fruit and vegetables. Dance at home to music a couple hours a day, and take long, fast walks. Drink lots of ice water, which helps you lose weight. Get a small weight (five pounds) and do LOTS of reps of curls and presses. You will need upper-body strength to work the pole.

Finally, take care of your skin. The best strippers have beautiful, smooth skin. I personally do not like tattoos on a stripper and prefer to see lots of smooth, clean skin.

Good luck!

Just like everyone else has mentioned, No on the flexibility and No on the Boobs., This is why there are several different types of Adult Entertainment Clubs. No one wants to look at the same type, frame and style of women all night long, If this were the case then everyones wives would look the same.
If you don't feel comfortable with the way that you look then you will not do good in the industry, If you like the way you look and are comfortable with your body then you will do good.
And if you want to get toned in 2 months do Cardio, and alot of it, each set that the DJ will put you on stage is a 3 song set, and each song last any where from 3-4( long remix songs) mins, so min of 7-10 of non stop movement, you don't want to go up there and be huffing and puffing. Just try to relax and if you are just starting out, I would not recommend going to a high profile club, get some practice in until u feel comfortable then go for the gold.
good luck

No you do not have to be flexible or have big boobs, but you gotta know how to dance. If you don't the girls there would teach you a couple of things. I have met plenty of strippers that didn't have any boobs at all, plenty of them, but you should work on your tummy and Men dont like girls that are too skinny so watch how much weight you loose! Good Luck!

I was a stripper for 6 yrs. Boob size does not matter at all! Every man is diffrent and likes diffrent body types. Cardio, cardio, cardio. You dont have to have a perfect body to dance. After a few months of dancing, your body will be rock hard. It is a very physical job. Keep in mind men want what they cant have, tease but never please and you will make big bucks!! Good luck!
