You seem to forget that the Europeans now have a right to come here and work. Along with the 60million announcement there have also been statistics about 600,000 mainly east European economic migrants coming here AND finding jobs. The vast majority of east Europeans look the same as English, Scottish Welsh or Irish. The vast majoirty of them are not Muslim either. Therefore, in a way, they are invisible. So let's have some balance when discussing ethnic minorities.

Immigrants always contriuted a lot to Britain, starting from the Romans to the Normans. Basically, today's Brits are immigrants.

Today's immigration is important because the British society is not only getting older, but there is also a lack of blue collar workers, such as butchers, for example. Without the immigrants the British society would collapse, there would be no money for old age pensions and other social benefits. Actually, the immigrants run your country.

Nothing to do with the population living for longer due to better health care provision? Nothing to do with the so called 'ethic British' population breeding? You actually are a buffoon. You would have to be a mathematical cretin to think what you do. The overwhelming majority of people in Britain are , as you put it , ethnically British. It would take a catastrophic drop in the British fertility rate for you to loose that position. And if that did happen you would need immigrants to come over and keep this country prosperous.

I dont think its mainly asian thats made the population go up theres lots of europeans in the country now polish romanian etc, as long as the people are here to work pay taxs and integrate themselves into british life , i dont see the problem but you are always going to get a few bad apples that spoil the whole barrel.

Stop worrying my flower. There is a simple solution to this.
We will merely have to pack up and move to pakistan and set up our little civilisation over there. And there we can stomp our feet like spoilt children 'til the laws change in our favour, build our churches, push our religious beliefs on them, live off their benefits and then still complain endlessly about the racism and unfairness of everything!!!

Life expectancy is rising, the birth rate is actually falling, this rise in population is nothing to do with immigration, it's because the "Baby boom" generation aren't dying off yet.
