sorry to hear that but " do so much" is not implying to the high conservacy charges?

am in the construction line and sometimes faces the same. it all boils down to society...no guessing or education needed.

guess society plays apart here and no guessing who is this time!

some mutual respect goes a long way, be it " we're paying" or not. just some respect thats all and seems not all have the same thinking.

To show respect to cleaner or refuse collector is an social issue. But if you noticed, more and more local are now working as cleaner too. Till the day, when more Singaporean have to work at cleaner or refuse collcetor (trust me, this day will come, based on the Governement policy and Economic progress), there will be no more discrimination.

Singaporeans can be more gracious. I think Singaporean fail to realise that there is no need to be haughty or arrogant. After all, Singapore is a small island. We have no resources. We have to be big-hearted because who knows, one day, the people we look down on may just go one-up on us. What goes around comes around.

You have to accept that there is no fairness in respect. Singaporeans tend to be "$" sensitive, you need to pay, then people will respect you. The courtesy campaign is held annually so the government already do their part, what else ?

think it's terrible if the govt has to tell people not to discriminate, shouldn't this comes from your own heart and will to do so ? u follow instruction not to discriminate, but deep inside, one can still indiscriminate, i would really this type of thing should not be told. Educate the public perhaps, start from the schools.
