A conspiracy of evil toaster makers that has existed since the electric toaster was invented. They laugh evilly as they install the "bread or black" valve in the thermostat and wish they could be a fly on your wall in your kitchen when you have to discard yet another slice of useless charcoal.

Death to the evil toaster makers!

My son burns his toast on purpose, he sets it to black, stinks the bloody house out and then eats it, ugh...he forgets to reset the setting and then ext one to do some ends up annnoyed as hell cos we all like it just sun kissed..

I think its original purpose was for frozen toast, by the time it defrosted it hsould have been golden brown...but they have separate settings for that too now, so the level 7 is still a mystery

It`s not a burn setting, The toaster has a defrost setting so you can put the bread straight in from the freezer.

You need to see Eddie Izzard's "Lying Toaster" sketch! So true. Have it on my mobile but am a bit of a computer virgin so wouldn't know how to get it on here for you to see. (Anyone out there help me?!) Worth a trawl through any of his DVDs to find.
