My Girlfriend has loved me now for almost a year. The father of her son, takes him almost everynight and every other week end. She doesn't like him to see us together because he still wants her. How do I know she is sincere about her love for me. Does she just keep good with him to keep the son there? He is a bit of trouble with his handicap, speech impairment. So he keeps him to help her out. Plus He is the only kid he has. How do I know she is playing around with me or really in love. I feel she does, I just would like to hear opinions and experiences from others.

She could possibly not want you two together when he's around out of respect. She knows he wants her back and she doesn't want it to seem like she's rubbing it in his face. So that way, there's no bitter feelings and resentment which could obviously hurt the child emotionally. I wouldn't worry about her playing you (at least from the things you said). Try talking to her and she'll probably tell her the same thing.

first , find out everything about her and doing it and a nicest way try to show her more love and understand, dont show her any suspicious feeling and slowly by caring and understanding her she will find that she loves you more and perhaps she maitgh get a new vision by keeping her family together and not looking back patience and youl be the most happy personinthe world. im maybe in the proces of finding my self but i could think and predict future.

She will always have an attachment to her ex as they have a child together. For the child's best interest it is important for them to keep a civil relationship between them. You need to talk to her and define your relationship as well as the boundaries of her relationship with her ex. I don't think that she doesn't want you...maybe the boundaries of the different relationships is just a bit enmeshed.

well if she loved you it wuoldnt matter if he saw you 2 together or not cause they arent together anymore. So I think she needs to think about what she wants cause she cant have both at the same time, yeah its good to be friends with the father for the sake of that child but to hide you because he still wants her is wrong. sounds like she is hiding something

she wants to keep him for the convenience of helping her with the child. she wants to keep you for the boyfriend. maybe she is secretly hoping her and the ex will get back together.

Just go right out and ask her........see how she answers the Qn.....if she does it too fast,she's hiding something.........If she answers it toooslowly,then she isn't sure of herself ........and if she doesnt answer or walks around as she's saying it,then she doesnt....and if she looks you in the eye and says that she Really does,THEN YOU HAVE GOT HER HEART!!!Try it
