How can I stop this? Someone is using my e-address to send e-mails to people I don't know.

Some virus problems.
Install suitable virus detectors/filters in your computer to get rid of it.
May like to change the ID/password if you think some one has hacked it.

Somebody hacked a friends address book with your e mail address on it.

I had that happen a few years ago. It's a worm. Go to the link below, follow the directions, and it'll automatically be removed from your computer.

NOTE: The first time going through the process will take a few minutes.

maybe someone Else has a similar email address to you and keeps putting the wrong address in?

Likely a virus on your computer or someone else's computer that has you in their address book.

well dude it nrmally does nt happen,it comes only when u r sendin it 2 a wrong email id which either does not exist or has been shut down
if it persists create another id thts as simple as tht!
