I'm asking that because it looks like that Mobile phone texting, calling, ringtones and all this other stuff has bring a lot of people into trouble.
The bills are adding up very fast.
One text is no problem but 500 text messages and 300 calls and 30 ringtones a month is quite expensive.
What are your experiences?

In China, you put money on the phone card for future use. The government controls the mobile companies, making using the mobile phone a real bargin. I would like to see other countries doing the same.

We pay 100¥per month

Hi well the best way i can advise is to tell you about three. There is a tariff where for £ per month you get

; Text messages ( 300 )
; Voice Minutes ( 2000 )
; Video Minutes ( 100 )
: Video Messages ( 100 )
; Multimedia Messages ( 100 )
: Emails ( 50 )
: Free internet powered by Yahoo Search
Download allowance for games, ringtones and pictures ( £40) on average 8 full price games, 16 discount price games, 8 full price ringtones, 16 discount price ringtones and 12 realtones per month.

I hope this is of any help to you because for the first 3 months it will cost £50 and after that £100 per month on a 12 or 18 month contract. You can save yourself a lot of money. Let me know how it goes.

I have Intelos. Unlimited anytime minutes, unlimited long distance (depending on the area) and I just use the ring tones that come with the phone. My plan is about $50/month and text messaging isn't something I use more than a few times a week.

I'm about to downgrade to one of their cheaper plans b/c I can still get unlimited anytime minutes for around $30 or so. I originally wanted the extra roaming minutes, that's why it's $50 dollars now.

Ha, well before getting my boyfriend my bill was £300 a month, didnt have £££ in my account due to being a student, so it didnt get paid, got phone cut off, and then had to pay extra £100 for breaking contract! Not good. Swapped to pay as you go, I text almost as much as I used to and only spend £20 a month due to free messages with o2. Thank god I got out of it!

Oh My God. You have hit the nail on the head. My daughter is seriously addicted to the telephone - so much so that I have just had a land line bill from BT for £700!!!!! She is financially killing me.

Use a friends cell phone. They always have one handy or a cricket phone and cut out all the extras.
