Rub either Vicks Vapo Rub or Cortizone 10 into your nails every morning before putting on your socks and every night before going to bed. It takes awhile, but I promise it works!

I imagine that you'll receive an array of answers that suggest you purchase this product, or that. And, although they're well-meaning, I will suggest that pharma type products may provide some relief of symptoms, but will not address the core issue.
The human body, as with all living matter, functions optimally within a narrow pH range. Nail fungus, or any other fungus which thrives on/in the body is an indication that your pH is out of balance.
For the short-term fix I suggest that you mix pure Tea Tree Oil with water, and soak the affected nail(s) for 10 min. both morning and night. Tea Tree Oil is a natural anti-fungal/anti-bacterial. If the fungus is especially rooted, try coating the nail with a Tumeric paste (yup, that's right ... Tumeric right out of your spice rack made into a paste with either H2O or Tea Tree Oil). Apply the paste before bedtime and sleep with a pair of clean, old socks on your feet, that you don't mind discarding. The socks will stain a very vivid orange-yellow, as will your nails.
Tumeric is also a very powerful anti-fungal. Then soak in the morning in the Tea Tree solution.
If you feel more comfortable using an over the counter pharma product, apply it after you soak with the Tea Tree Oil.
Now here's the kicker. As previously mentioned, fungal infection is an indication of imbalanced pH. So, to more permanently correct the imbalance you need to attend to altering the pH within your body. This is done quite simply by altering the foods/beverages that you ingest.
Do you remember the litmus paper that you used in Science class? Apply a bit of your saliva to a piece of litmus paper when you first wake up in the morning. It's not an absolute measure of your systemic pH, but it is a pretty good gauge. I suggest you plan on performing this test each morning for the next couple of weeks, or so. Once you determine your pH, begin altering your food intake accordingly. An internet search of Acidic/Alkaline foods will help you pick out which foods you need to begin eating/drinking ... and which to avoid, as you undertake the task of re-balancing your pH. Depending on the severity of the fungal infection, this may take a commitment of 30-60 days.
Using over-the-counter Pharma products will take nearly as long, and the fungus tends to return when you stop using the product. Prescription anti-fungals often indicate a recommended treatment time of up to 180 days. So, you pick which regimen you wish to undertake.
However you decide ... I send well-wishes for your complete irradication of the fungus.
