Not usually, so long as you select songs that are over 1mb and are carried by lots of users, anything that's 100kb or 200kb large or smaller is usually a virus.

Well, yes, but u can prevent it. Virus never entered to my pc while using limewire, perhaps bcoz i dont download anything which is less than 2 MB(virus are usually shorter than 1 MB) and make sure u download files shared by many users
It sure is prone 2 virus, Don't download adult videos either coz it is also prone 2 virii attack
I never got a virus by sharing music !!!

I haven't gotten any virus yet from limewire. When you install it's software, don't allow it to close your firewall. It still works with it closed. It would also depend on the file you download but if you downloadjust music, ther would be no problem.

I don't think limewire can do any harm to your computer,cause my friends use limewire,they said it's fine.

Nope, downloading only refers to the exactly music files. virus is another program files. well, for sure,is by protecting your computer with updated antivirus, if there is a virus accidently downloaded, it will be blocked automaticly, dont worry
