If you have an erotic dream about someone with whom you very little interaction (neighbor, postman, guy in the elevator in your building) does that change the way in which you view them? Do you now look at them & think, 'Hmmmm, what if...?'

What's your subconscious trying to tell you?

Faithfullyyours, you might want to consider firing that dream interpreter. I'm married, and the sex is very good. He doesn't pick up his goddamn socks, but the sex is great.

no, my dreams of valerie bertinelli wearing a hot nurse's uniform has not changed the way i view her, not much anyway. i'm not very good at "what if?", and have no idea what the subconscious could be saying other than "you are a horn-dog!" i do like weird dreams though.

I think nearly everyone has erotic dreams at some point in their lives. If you don't start having a recurrent dreams about one and same person, then I wouldn't take too much notice about the persons appearing in your dreams. The point in these dreams is the erotic / sexual theme, which is just your mind trying to handle this kind of issues.

I think the reason why erotic dreams are common lies in our society, where sexual issues are either a taboo or exaggeratedly present. I don't know anyone who is truly "on first name terms" with his/her sexuality (and that includes myself). We all seem to have some issues there (don't get me wrong here; most of us still can live perfectly normal and happy life), and our mind sometimes tries to ponder with these things while we are asleep.

Sex with strangers (if your dreams seem to emphasize the fact that these are strangers you are having erotic moments with) is one commonly intriguing but forbidden (with good reasons) fantasy. Appearing in your dreams this may mean that your mind has been pondering this aspect and your attitude towards it. I wouldn't say this would have anything to do with sex in your current relationship, because I presume it doesn't include sex with strangers. You handle this in your dreams, and your mind is trying to get a some sort of grip around the subject; maybe form a more specific attitude towards it. Now i see this as a perfectly normal thing; our minds keep on wandering around all possible subjects, common and forbidden, while we dream.

I have them every night. They just mean you are a very passionate person and are living out your passion in your dreams. The only way it will change your view on them is if you let this person slip away without getting to know them better and possibly having a good or bad experience with them. Remember to be open minded because your encounter may not be what you have eroticised about them. Don't hold back,or your subconscious will never forgive you.

It does for me, I know that.

It doesn't happen to me often, but an example from way back pops into my mind, where I had an erotic dream about a boy I didn't really know that well who was in my class.

Unfortunately the dream turned out to be a whole lot better than the reality.

Very bold of you to ask this question. How strange that people answer the silly questions very seriously and laugh away serious ones.
This kinds of dreams are not very rare.Interpreters say that sexual activity in the dreams on no account to be interpreted sexually. It indicates that we should have contact with these people we have been ignoring. This hold particularly true for incest dreams.

I think you were just horny and that was the last person you thought about or saw before you went to sleep LOL guess it might change how you look at them, but if you have no feelings like that other than your dreams then don't be wierd toward them ok LOL!

no, it never happened to me because i can explain this to my brain so that it will not act in a bizarre way like you said. you can look at it this way. it's a way in which your subconscious tells you you need more warmth in your relations with others. maybe you need more fulfilling relationships with the people you interact with. in 95 % of the cases this kind of a dream doesn't have erotic connotation to your brain. it just means you feel lonely and that you repress your feelings.

Absolutely changes everything...

Dreams are your mind wandering without borders and boundaries and prejudices...

I guess if your "subconscious" was trying to give you a message that you couldn't understand...it would probably be asking you...what if you had this romantic interlude...how would you feel about that?
