Now that stem cells can be man made and not taken from embryos, what are your feelings regarding continued research?

Stem cells are still a pig in a poke with no proven track record, but I like this development. My guess is the money won't be there from corporations for R and D like it is for adult stem cell research, and the government will be expected to fund. Every minor breakthrough will be trumpeted and every failing will be put on the last page of the Living Section.

From what i hear the stem cells taken from embryos can cause tumors, now i do know if thats true or not. But there are so many ways to get stem cells, if its true i would not use stem cell from embryos.....I believe they still should do research just dont use embryos....
