Because its the second hand they put on when they make the watches. why are they called hands at all they look nothing like my hands

Because it ticks off the seconds. The other two are called the hour hand and the minute hand.

It's not second as in "2ND" there is a minute hand and a second hand which indicates how many SECONDS go by.

If you start counting from it, it would be the first hand. But more to the point, because it demarcates seconds.
