how is she overbearing? maybe look at the reasons you find her overbearing. is she overbearing because she's not happy with herself or she unhappy with outside sources. if it's herself maybe she needs a way to vent professionally or otherwise. if it's with the situations at hand maybe there are some things you can do to help alleviate the situations. more attention, more time, recognizing her frustrations and helping to get her through them by volunteering to give her some out time or some time with you alone or whatever. some people just require more maintenance than others. there may be nothing you are doing and she may need to seek pro help.

she probably feels INADEQUATE.

There are two ways to be the tallest building in teh area...
take the time to build a building or blow up someone else building.

someone feeling inadequate tries to make someone else feel evenmore inadequate and useless.

ask her WHAT IS SHE FEELING

is this a new feeling or something that she has felt before - most likely its just a old, out o date, memory ( like an old scraty record) play over and over again.

try find a life coach who can help you get through it
