I've given the little shi... excuse me

IT PUTS THE LOTION IN THE BASKET OR ELSE IT GETS THE HOSE AGAIN...

sorry about that. As I was saying, it's had 8 doses already but it's still breathing.

How long does it take?

Depending on the make of Calpol, it contains between 150-250mg of paracetamol. Yes you can die from an overdose, and it starts by causing liver failure (not a nice way to die by accident!). If you are concerned about the amount you may have given / taken, you should contact NHS Direct for information. Most casualties do not realise that they have overdosed in the first 24hrs as there are no immediate symptoms.

If in doubt seek help!!

Hope

yes, calpol contains paracetamol and is very easy to overdose on it, not sure if it would kill you but it would certainly make you very ill and damage your internal organs hence why the government has limited the amount of paracetamol you can buy in one go.
i do hope the child you are talking about is not yours, A) why on earth would you give him/her 8 doses??
b)why do you refer to the child as it??

my advice to you would be to take the child straight to the hospital, and if the child is yours then maybe consider getting help for post natal depression, no mother i know would publically refer to there child as a little shi... or give them that amount of calpol, if the child is that ill to warrant 8 doses then i think you should have taken him/her to the dr's first.
good luck to you - and for the child

Yes,calpol contains paracetamol and it is a very slow painful death if an overdose is taken it is not reversible and there is nothing they can do about it,I don't think you are funny at all and I hope for your sake you are joking.
And for all of the people that are saying you can't die from it,ask a pharmacist and get your facts right!

Just to warn you that posting something like this online in a public forum is grounds for anyone to report you to the proper authorities with the intent to do harm to someone. It is a federal offense and you can go to jail. Each time you log onto site your IP address is logged so the authorities won't have a problem finding you. You are a child abuser.

You are very strange. I like that. Yes, you can overdose on anything. I heard of a man dieing from an overdose of potatoes. Are you trying to murder someone or something??? Maybe you should film it and then send it to Channel 4. It could replace Big Brother. I'd watch it.

Calpol can cause hallucinations in baby's and children you could just be giving him a massive trip.

Can you die from overdose of calpol?
Why don't you give the child to somebody safe and then YOU give it a damn good try?

Just whack it in the microwave and you'll not only have a dead sprog, but a tasty treat for when you finish. The fingers are particularly good.

that is not very funny, but yes you need to take whoever has overdosed to hospital, my daughter decided to drink half a bottle of calpol and was rushed to hospital and treated, she stayed in hospital for four days............
