Your spouses embrace!!! And-location depends on financial abitlity, and how much you plan to leave the room. If you planning on spending most of the honeymoon in the room ordering in, then go somewhere not to far but new, and too extravagent either. If you plan on spending a lot of time out of the room, go somewher you can afford, or where your dollar will go farther, and as far away as possible. Wherever you decide ask yourself this, in ten years will I be able to look back and think I am glad I went there instead of...
and remeber if your caught between to perfect site, 25 wedding anaversary are great times to renew vowes and rush away to a second Honeymoon. Good luck, and Congradualtions if your getting married.

Hopefully in the company of the one you married,,, and even more hopefully,,,LOVE.
Beyond that there are hundreds of places to enjoy each other on a honeymoon, and none more special than the other, but for the reason the TWO of you are there.
I don't doubt that there have been honeymoon disasters, in that certain things were wrong choices, or that the most expensive honeymoons didn't meet expectations, but I suspect it should be less about the PLACE, than the reasons for the bonding. I think it's possible to take whatever moneys exist for that trip around the world, and sneak off to a nice hotel, and enjoy whatever time you choose, even close to home, then bank the balance and use it for what you'll need as described in your vows.
There can still be as much romance, and as many joyful memories.

with your spouse...
find somewhere (doesn't have to be far from home or expensive) that sounds like it would be exciting to both of you.
It'll be a memory that will last forever...
PS.. don't give your parents or friends any way to contact you while you're gone.
