Lesbianism is when you find yourself sexually attracted to women. As with all orientations of sexuality, there is a spread of preferences, ranging from exclusive hardcore "butch" lesbianism, through to bi - curiosity, where you find yourself fancying women and men almost to the dame extent - but perhaps women a little bit more than men.
You'll know if you've got lesbian tendencies if you:-
(a) can't get sexually aroused by men, no matter how handsome;
(b) find yourself wanting intimacy with other women, to the point of having daydreams about them, wanting romances with them, etc.
The good news is, honey, if the reason why you asked this question is because you are somehow wondering if you are one yourself, it's okay to be one; even okay to be bi, if you can't relinquish the idea of straight sex.
There are any number of Lesbian / Gay / Bisexual / Transgendered clubs, societies and organisations in the world. There might be one or two in your area. If you go to them, and present yourself, and state your concerns, you might be surprised by the welcome you get.
In any case, sister, it's as I said to a friend of mine who expressed the exact same concerns about her coming out as a lesbian: "Whatever makes you happy, you do it. It's your life, and you only have one shot at it."
