Of course you need to have her pay back, or at least do not lend (actually you don't lend but you give) money to her anymore. Money is a serious topic and she cannot be mad at you for asking it back. She is not your wife, you are not married or anything like this, so you do not need to give her money, especiaslly if you see she does not pay it back.
My mother has some very good friends as well, who asked her to sign a paper at the bank that she will pay for their house if they were not able. Although she is good friend with those people, she never did it and was right, because money hasn't got anything to do with friendship.
I would stop giving her money and see how it evolves. If she does not come as often as she used to, that is a sign she only pretended to be your friend to get money. I would not wish this for you, but it could happen.
Best Wishes,

She's not a real friend. STOP giving her money, she's just giogn to take it. You need to be serious w/ her and ask her to pay you back. Otherwise she's just goign to take advantage of your good heart. Again, she's not a friend, she's playing the guilty game on you. drop her!

That is not a friend. She is using you. Lets see how much of a friend she will be when you stop giving her money. She won't give a rat's a** about you. Drop her.

Yes, you should stop...a good friend would pay you back even if it's a couple hundred at a time. Look you work hard for you money and your friend should understand that....I'm sure she needs it for something urgent....but she should pay you back.

Yes, stop giving her money. You don't owe her anything. By her not paying you back, she can't say the same.

yes, stop giving her money.
Or if you don't want to stop, before you give it to her, tell her it's a LOAN, and you expect to be paid back, and if you need, have her sign a contract about repaying the money.
