I have 1 computer with 2 hard drive and wanted to know how I can connect 2 other monitors for a total of 3 on my computer. Is there a cable that would allow me to do that, or video card. If so please point me to the name of it. Thanks.

There are mult-plexor ( a device that take one input and sends to two or more outputs) for video output available in the market. You can buy the same and connect video output of your cabinet to this multi-plexor and through the outlets of the multi-plexor to the monitors. Note this will give you the same image in all the three monitors and it cannot be used by three different users like 3 PCs.The only reason for having 2 or more monitors occurs during billing or any other business where you want your customer also to see what is being keyed in by you and a third one for your boss to look.

A specialized video card would allow for that, although it has no relationship to the number of hard drives in the computer. An example of a card that would allow up to 4 monitors on 1 computer is the PNY nVidia Qaudro NVS 440, but it would require that you have 1 PCI-Express slot in the workstation so you will need to verify if that is the case.

You have several choices. Windows XP, 2k, 2k3 support multiple video cards that it would give you the capabilities to setup multiple monitors in a sequential mode. Meaning one big screen. Like in the movie Swordfish. You could also use "Y" cables. The problem with "Y" cables is that you get the exact same image in all screen. Your desktop would still be the same size just repeated. I personally have 2 monitors on my workstation at work and at home. Its cool and allows me to get several task going at the same time and monitor them.

Use a Matrox card that supports up to 4 monitors. Most ATI and Nvidia videocards only support 2 with dual dvi. Look at the Matrox Millenium P750 or something similar.
