Non-conventional energy sources are those typically not used or even considered for use today. If you look around, you'll see plenty of conventional sources... but you don't want me to give examples.

Generally, unconventional energy sources use either renewable or solar energy. In some cases unconventional energy uses waste products, stuff that we would ordinarily throw away but can now turn into energy cost-effectively at today's high energy prices. Some unconventional energy sources can be grown on farms.

non conventional i think are those nuclear energy reactors...and the conventional are those power plants which sources are from the sea, lake, rivers or to sum it up, water source.

the nuclear energy reactor is recommended to those far from water area, which they need another extra chemicals or elements to produce heat or electricity...it can be non conventional, because some are using this kind of reactor to produce nuclear weapons...
