You should try getting very close to the written materials (book etc.) and ignoring the mannerisms of the prof. This is a difficult but excellent skill to develop in life. Amongst your future bosses and co-workers, you are VERY likely to find that some of them are also annoying. Being able to get your work done regardless of the people in power will get you far in life.
Some of the courses in which I learned (and grew intellectually) the most were taught by "strange" people.
Finally, put yourself in his shoes. Given a large enough class, someone will also find you annoying. No offense, but it's true.

You actually care about how your teachers look? That's extremely shallow. It's like saying that because someone is "annoying looking" they cannot be smart, which definitely is NOT AT ALL true.
Any teacher/professor can become interesting if you MAKE yourself pay attention - take notes - etc. After a while you'll pay more attention naturally and you'll start learning more too!

find a different way to organize your notes, like the 3 column method.... concepts, examples, background knowledge. If you are concentrating more on the material and notetaking, you will be looking at his "annoying face" less. You have to consider what your really there for. Even going through the book taking notes will get you farther than daydreaming about an unsightly mole or whatever...

..and vision him in his underware! You can keep your eyes to the book and take copious notes so you just have to suffer listening to him and not have to look at him, too. Actually..this might not be a bad thing..in the future, you will work with people more boring and annoying. So, if you get through this class..you have it made in the real world..thanks to this teacher!!

I depends upon you in which part you are more interested. The meaning of the lecture or the physical look of the proffesor.

Well maybe he seems difficult because you are so stupid. Have you looked at what you wrote in your question and the details? It's incoherent.
