your point beinggggg... bugs like water its gonna happen. cover your pool when not in use, and then get out the strainer and clean it before getting in...of course i fell as though i should tell YOU to take the cover off, with a question like that your bond to need the obvious pointed out.

Do a chlorine shock...basically hit it with 10 times the regular dose, it will basically kill any bacteria or bugs and make the water sparkling clean!
