I could have swore it was fox I know it came on right around the same time as hermans head

The show was called "True Colors", and ran from 1990-92 on FOX.

It was the final TV appearances of legendary actors Cleavon Little and Nancy Walker.

That doesn't sound like Fox. Are you sure it was Fox?
