instead of yelling at my husband i start to clean and stay quiet. he finds me more "scarier" in his word. he feels that i should yell at him because it will give him an idea why i am angry. he doesn't argue with me much so i don't find the need to take things out of hand and go baserk on him, plus im not the yelling type. ladies what do you do honestly when your mad at your spouse or boyfriends and why? Men what do you prefer and be honest now.

Talk it out.
Opposite of yelling is the "silent treatment".

I also do something to distract myself. I don't see the point in yelling either. I won't say a word, which my ex hated. He said he could always tell how p*ssed I was when I wouldn't speak to him. That's when he knew he really messed up. He always preferred that I just let him have it instead of making him suffer by not knowing what I was thinking. After I calmed down a bit, then we'd talk.

Its a wasted emotion to scream and shout at your "mate" when there is a problem ... One they don't listen and two it encourages old haunts or past problems to surface..
One way of handling this is to look them right square in the eye and tell them your upset not at them but at their behavior of "said crime"
and you will discuss this matter "pick a time " to marrow at 6.30pm then DROP it till then .... at that time you two sit and talk about what can be done to either bring a compromise OR to change the behavior completely ...
Since the fire is out of the "talk" they will be listening

I hate to argue so when I get mad I start wiping the counter in my kitchen...over and over and over and over..lol
