Where do you live?
In the States, I'd say check out the Kawasaki Ninja 250, Suzuki GS500 (it comes in both standard and full-fairing versions) and Buell Blast if you like sport bikes. They both get excellent mileage. Or if you want something with more modern sportbike styling, check out the Hyosung Comet 250.
For cruisers, how about a Honda Shadow VLX?

If you are a short to medium height guy, then I wud suggest you to go for TVS APACHE. After all R * D on this bike, finally I'm also going to buy This Machine.
Its mileage is around 60~70 Kmpl.
Good Body Posture for rider.
Improved Ergonomics.
Shorter Wheelbase for better handling.
Styling Unmatchedly Aggressive.
