Recovery WinXP admin password?

As my on of the frd hase change the paasword of my win XP and make me as User of the system. As He is not telling the password
so plzz tell me the convinent way to recover my password?

if u r signing in with windows welcom screen (than a seperate window for login), where admin and user names are shown,..u press 'Alt+ Ctrl+Del' twice, then type username as admin and try to login. there is a chance 2 b logged in vth no password, if u signed in, change the way users signing in by control panel, n change password

press f8 repeatedly after reboot start in safe mode then change ur password
