Thats a good topic and I'm sure that you can find out loads about it - Clive of India, black hole of calcutta etc and how India became British by default. You will have to do some research and set yourself some questions to answer. Dont be lazy and expect the answers to come to you and you should be reading books as well. I'm a teacher and it gets my goat when students think they can cheat by getting someone else to do their bloody work!!

The British East India Company was heavily involved in opium trafficking to China. The Chinese government's resistance to this lead to the Opium Wars. This is a very interesting topic, and you could easily find a large number of sources for information. You could write a 2000 word paper on this easily.
